You are the children of the 5th wave, and the world does not appreciate your existence. Your government will use you as an asset, the public will fear you and some will even try to have you killed. You are not alone, however. There are those who fight for the freedom of meta-variants from within and without, and it is up to you to determine how you will win your freedom.

You are a human caught up in events beyond your ken. You and others around you have begun to manifest fantastic and awful powers, ranging from strength and speed to blasts of pure energy. Some have manifested violently and you have been noticed by the government and taken in to be "briefed". You are pushed into a dimly lit room with a dozen or so other individuals, assumedly just like you, awaiting their fate.
